Ordering Sizes

• Width: Take a measurement of the opening between walls or posts. This dimension will be the size you need to order. Do not make any other allowances as the "fits opening" size already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "physical height" shown above makes no allowance for the ground clearance you will need to leave. For best results, we suggest allowing 50mm (2") between the underside of the gate and the finished floor level.

Example

If the opening between brick walls is 991mm (3ft 3"), you will need to order a gate to "fit opening 991mm (3ft 3)".

Do You Need Metal Gate Posts? 

If these items are required (due to the lack of a suitable support structure), additional space will be required.

Example – A gate to fit an opening of 991mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 1091mm.
