The Abbey Wrought Iron Style Double Metal Driveway Gates are exceptional value for money and are suitable for a wide range of property types. Available to suit a variety of opening widths, these stunning double gates benefit from a 25mm x 8mm welded steel framework, 10mm infill bars and 6mm bars within the decorative infill panels. Supplied with a zinc-plated and black powder-coated paint finish, they include the hinges, latch and drop bolt as standard and can be mounted directly to masonry or attached to posts depending on your opening layout.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To determine the ordering width, measure the gap between your pillars, walls, or pre-existing posts. You will then need to order the gates according to this measurement, as the "fits opening" size displayed in the drop-down menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "physical height" refers to the actual height of the gates. No allowance for ground clearance has been included. When installing the gates, we recommend you leave a gap of 50mm (2") for optimum results.

Example

If the opening width between walls is 2385mm, select the gates marked as "fits opening" 2385mm - 2445mm.

Do you Need to Install Metal Posts?

You will need to use metal posts for installations without an existing support structure in place. If these items are required, please remember you will need additional space for these components.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2385mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will require a total overall space of 2525mm.
