Ordering Sizes

• Width: To determine the ordering width, you simply measure the gap between the pillars, walls, or pre-existing posts. You will then need to order the gates according to this measurement as the "fits opening" size displayed in the drop-down menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "physical height" refers to the actual height of the gates. This is taken from the underside of the frame to the highest point. No allowance for ground clearance has been accounted for. When installing the gates, we recommend you leave a gap of 50mm (2”) for optimum results.

Example

If the opening with between walls is 2134mm you should select the gates that “fits opening” 2134mm (7ft).

Do you Need to Install Metal Posts?

For installations without an existing support structure in place you will need to use metal posts. If these items are necessary, please remember additional space will be required for these items.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2134mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will require a total overall space of 2234mm.
