The Classic Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate measures 914mm in height. It features decorative scrollwork for a timeless appeal, whilst the zinc-plated and black powder-coated paint finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. Suitable for many residential applications such as front paths, side entrances and other similar areas of the home, the gate features a flat bar outer framework, round metal infill bars, wrought iron style scrolls and is supplied with the hinges and latch included as standard. Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between the existing walls or posts. This measurement will be the width you need to order. No other calculations are required as our “fits opening” size already includes the space needed for the hinges and latch.

• Height: When installing the gate, an allowance of 50mm (2”) will need to be made for ground clearance.

Example

If the opening between walls measures 838mm, you should order a gate to “fit opening 838mm.”

Do You Need Metal Posts?

Please remember that if you need to purchase metal posts, then additional space will be required for these items.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 838mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 938mm.
