Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the width between the walls or pre-existing posts. This dimension will be the size you need to order. You do not need to complete any further calculations because our "fits opening" measurement includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch.

• Height: When installing the gates, we recommend leaving 50mm (2") for ground clearance.

Example

If the space between the walls or current posts is 2743mm, you should purchase gates to "fits opening 2743mm."

Do you Need to Install Posts? 

If you purchase metal posts (due to a lack of brickwork or pillars), you must account for these components' extra space requirements.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2743mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will require a total overall space of 2943mm.
