Ordering Sizes
-
Width: The "fits opening" measurements displayed within the drop-down menu at the top of the page already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch. In simple terms this means that to establish the ordering size you should measure the gap between your existing brickwork and find a size option that matches the measurement you get. No other calculations are necessary.
-
Height: The “physical height” measurement is the actual height of the gates. It is measured from the underside of the frame to the highest point of the gates. No allowance has been made for the ground clearance you will need for them to be able to swing free of obstructions.
Ordering Example
If the gap size between walls measures 3048mm you should order the gates to “fit an opening" of 3048mm.
Will Metal Posts be Required?
If these items are required, please choose the appropriate posts from the options and accessories menu. Please be aware that additional space will be required so make sure you factor this in when placing your order.
Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2438mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will require a total overall space of 2638mm.
