The Corfe Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate has a high-strength box section steel framework for additional strength and rigidity without the extra weight associated with a solid frame. The gate measures 1168mm in height, features 16mm round metal infill bars and is fitted with a double row of fleur-de-lys finials for improved aesthetic appeal and is manufactured to a high standard. Available to buy online in a choice of sizes, this timeless gate design is ideal for securing residential pathways, side entrances or any other garden area that would benefit from an additional layer of security and an affordable price. Supplied with the hinges and latch included as standard, the Corfe design is primed black (undercoat). It needs to be painted before installation to prevent rust and corrosion.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between the walls or existing posts. This measurement will become the ordering width. You do not need to make further calculations as our "fits opening" measurement already factors in the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: We recommend an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance.

Example

If the opening between walls or any existing posts is 991mm (3ft 3"), you will need to order a gate to "fit opening 991mm (3ft 3")".

Do You Require Metal Gate Posts?

When installing metal posts, you must understand that you will require additional space for these items.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 991mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will need an overall space of 1131mm.
