The Corfe Wrought Iron Style Metal Side Gate is handmade in the UK and benefits from a box section framework to ensure high levels of strength and rigidity without having the additional weight associated with solid steel. It is ideal for numerous applications around the home and garden, including side entrances, pathways or other similar vulnerable access points. The gate features a double row of fleur-de-lys finials for an imposing appearance, whilst the 16mm solid metal infill bars are strong and secure. Available to order online in various sizes, the Corfe design features easy to install surface mounted adjustable hinges and comes complete with a latch mechanism that can easily be secured using a padlock.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the size of the opening between walls or posts to establish the ordering size. Our "fits opening" dimension shown within the drop-down menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch, so do not make any other calculations.

• Height: The "physical height" is measured from the underside of the gate to the top of the finials. We recommend leaving 50mm (2") for ground clearance when installing.

Example

If the gap size between walls or existing posts is 914mm (3ft), you should order a gate to "fit opening 914mm (3ft)".

Do You Need to Install Metal Gate Posts? 

If ordering metal posts (due to the lack of walls or pillars), you will need to factor in the additional space these items will require.

Example – A gate to fit an opening of 914mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will need an overall space of 1054mm.
