Ordering Sizes
The dimensions presented in the drop-down menu only correspond to the physical width and height of the gate. They do not take into account the additional space needed for the hinges and locking mechanism. To determine the appropriate gap size for installation, we recommend consulting the table provided below.
► For a gate with a physical width of 900mm, an opening of 930mm between your walls or posts is required.
► For a gate with a physical width of 1000mm, an opening of 1030mm between your walls or posts is required.
► For a gate with a physical width of 1200mm, an opening of 1230mm between your walls or posts is required.
Height Dimensions
To ensure you have sufficient space for the top and bottom hinges, the height of the wall or posts needs to be at least 100mm taller than the physical height of the gate you purchase.
Do You Require Aluminium Posts?
Please note that the posts available for purchase are blank and allow you the freedom to attach fittings in the optimal position for your needs. Each post comes equipped with a base plate for installation onto pre-existing solid surfaces, such as concrete. Alternatively, you can secure the posts in the ground and support with concrete.
