The Royale Grange Wrought Iron Style Estate Gates are handmade in the UK using heavy duty solid steel components to achieve a finished appearance that is second to none. Standing at 7ft tall once installed, these stunning double gates benefit from an arched top, decorative wrought iron style scrolls, dog bars in the bottom portion of the gates and a double horizontal rail for added strength. For improved aesthetic appeal and a more imposing appearance, fleur de lys finals are fitted in the middle and top portion of the gates. Available to buy online in a choice of popular sizes, they are suitable for automation or may be manually operated depending on specific user requirements. For added convenience they come with surface mounted adjustable hinges for easy levelling during installation together with a latch mechanism that can be secure with a padlock and in ground drop bolt to hold the gates in the correct position when closed. Featuring 40mm x 30mm flat bar hanging stiles, 40mm x 20mm closing stiles and cross rails and 16mm round metal infill bars the Grange design is primed black as standard ready for painting to the colour of your choice prior to installation.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the distance between existing brick wall or other appropriate support structure. Once this dimension has been established, you should simply match this with one of the width options shown in the drop-down menu. Do not perform any other calculations as the "fits opening" width already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The “height once fitted” includes an allowance of 50mm (2”) for ground clearance. The uppermost finials above the framework are not included within this measurement.

Ordering Example

If the distance between existing brick pillars measures 8ft you should order the gates to “fit opening 8ft”.

Do you Need Metal Posts?

For freestanding installations where no existing support structure is in place you will need to purchase metal posts. If necessary, appropriate size posts can be selected from the options and accessories menu above. When doing so it is important to remember that additional space will be necessary.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 9ft combined with 2 x 6” posts will require a total overall space of 10ft.
