The Royale Talisman Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate is manufactured from our heaviest duty components to ensure superior levels of strength, rigidity, and durability. Handmade in the UK from solid steel components, the gate features a double row of fleur-de-lys finials, circular scrolls, and dog bars in the bottom portion of the gate. Available in a choice of sizes, the Talisman design is fitted with a sliding latch as standard, allowing for the addition of a padlock, whilst the surface-mounted adjustable hinges aid with levelling the gate during installation. Supplied in a choice of black primer (undercoat), which need to be painted prior to installation to prevent the onset of rust and corrosion or a low maintenance zinc plated and black powder coated paint finish.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the opening between existing walls or posts. This measurement will be the size you need to order. Our "fits opening" dimension displayed in the menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch; therefore, no other allowances need to be made.

• Height: The "fitted height" is the height of the gate once installed, measured from the floor to the top of the horizontal framework. Within this measurement, we have already included an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance. The finials above the frame is not included in this measurement.

Example

If the gap size between the walls or posts measures 1067mm (3ft 6"), you will need to order a gate that "fits opening" 1067mm (3ft 6").

Do You Need Metal Gate Posts? 

For installations without an existing support structure, you will need to install metal posts. Please remember when adding these items that additional space will be required.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 1067mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will need an overall space of 1267mm.
