The Balmoral Wrought Iron Style Metal Railings are manufactured using heavy-duty components for a traditional appearance and ultimate levels of strength and rigidity. Ideally suited to prestigious properties, the Balmoral railing design features a 40mm x 10mm solid steel framework together with 16mm diameter round metal infill bars. For enhanced visual appeal, the top of each vertical bar is fitted with spear top finials. Included as standard is the surface mounted fitting brackets, which can be fixed directly to any suitable masonry surface or metal posts. Supplied black primer (undercoat) ready for on-site painting prior to installation.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: The “fits opening” dimension shown in the description represents the size of the opening you will require between brick pillars or posts. Within this measurement, we have already included the space needed for the mounting brackets.

• Height: The “physical height” is the actual height of the railing measured from the underside of the frame to the top of the finials. When installing the item, we recommend an allowance of 50mm for ground clearance.

Do you Need to Add Metal Posts to Provide Support?

When installing railings onto a wall without existing brick pillars or other means of support, you will need to add bolt down metal posts. 

Examples

• 1 x railing and 2 x 70mm bolt down posts will need a total space of 1970mm.

• 2 x railings and 3 x 70mm bolt down posts will need a total space of 3870mm.

• 3 x panels and 4 x 70mm bolt down posts will need a total space of 5770mm.
