Ordering Information
-
Width: The "fits opening" dimension is the actual opening size required between existing pillars or posts. The space needed for the fitting brackets is already included in this measurement; therefore, no further allowances should be made for these parts. Please refer to the examples below for further clarification if you require metal posts.
-
Height: This measurement defines the height of the railings after installation (allowing for a 50mm gap for clearance) and excludes the scrollwork mounted above the top horizontal framework.
Do You Metal Posts?
If you are unable to install railings between brick pillars, you can use bolt-down metal posts instead. Keep in mind that this installation method requires extra space.
Ordering Example (when metal posts are required)
The method for calculating combined space is the same across all three width options. Below, we provide an example of the most popular "fits opening 1830mm" railing.
-
1 x railing and 2 x 50mm posts will occupy a total space of 1930mm.
-
The combined space required for 2 x railings and 3 x 50mm posts is 3810mm.
-
To accommodate 3 x railings and 4 x 50mm posts, a total space of 5690mm is needed.
Compatible Metal Posts
We have the following universal bolt-down metal posts available:
Suitable for 457mm High Options
